Mr. Walti is a Co-Founder of the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI), combining experience as an entrepreneur with his passion for clean technology. In just a little over ve years, Mr. Walti has forged LACI into a regional commercialization ecosystem with an international footprint. LACI is now recognized as one of the premier cleantech commercialization programs in the world: ranked as the #3 Global Incubator by the UBI Index of 1200 incubators; selected by the Department of Energy (DoE) as one of their three national incubators; and chosen by the California Energy Commission (CEC) to establish a Los Angeles Regional Energy Innovation Cluster through a $5 million CEC grant.
Under Mr. Walti’s leadership, LACI has helped 67 companies raise $130 million in funding, created 1,500 jobs, and delivered more that $335 million in long-term economic value for the City of Los Angeles. In 2016, LACI celebrated the grand opening of the
La Kretz Innovation Campus and has been the recipient of numerous recognitions, including the Rudy Bruner Award for Urban Excellence; an OurCycle LA Commendation from the City of Los Angeles; the Los Angeles Downtowners of Distinction Award;
the Los Angeles and Mexico City Sustainable Real Estate Award; and the 2014 Startup of the Year Award by the LA Sustainability Collaboration. As CEO, Mr. Walti leads the strategic direction of the organization and ensures that it has the resources necessary for success. He also leads LACI’s international initiatives as President and CEO of the Network for Global Innovation (NGIN), a global mechanism creating a commercialization ecosystem comprised of eighteen world-class innovation institutes in nine countries. Mr. Walti was named on the Techweek100 as one of the most impactful technology leaders in 2014.
Fred Walti has been involved — either as a founder, consultant, principal, or investor — in the startup of several-dozen technology companies. He brings twenty years of entrepreneurship experience, having co-founded The Propellant Group, a management consulting group, Full Moon Interactive (FMI), an Internet architect, and LAI, Inc., a consulting company focusing on leveraging technology in traditional businesses. Mr. Walti also started one of the rst interactive divisions of a global advertising agency in 1995.
Mr. Walti speaks often to groups on creating cleantech innovation ecosystems, harnessing the region’s strengths to build a large green economy, entrepreneurship, the role of economic development in creating jobs, and public/private partnerships.

Kevin brings over 40 years of concept to completion product development and enterprise formation experience. He has raised hundreds of millions in capital, created billions in economic value and thousands of jobs on a global scale. Kevin has been a c-level executive, advisor, mentor and coach to Industries including electronic banking, electronic brokerage, SaaS, social commerce, retail, broadcast television, interactive television, cable television, radio, healthcare, consumer packaged goods, consumer electronics, airlines, advertising, higher education, technology transfer, medical devices, nuclear materials, nanotechnology, management information systems, decision support systems, competitive local exchange carriers, pharmaceutical, e-commerce, data mining, terrestrial navigation systems, computer-telephony integration, transgenic agriculture, commercial real estate, nuclear isotopes and solar power. His largest project was building a pan-Asia communications company, completing 20 acquisitions in 18 months and increasing enterprise value 500 fold in 24 months from $4,000,000 to $2,000,000,000. Most recently he has been a key advisor and executive director at Washington State University and Idaho State University. There he has identi ed over $200B in disruptive technology revenue with over $240M in government sponsored proposals in process. He is an instrument rated commercial pilot and volunteers as a command pilot for Angel Flight. Kevin Randolph completed an Executive Management Program from Harvard University and an Executive Marketing Program from Columbia University, and holds a BA in Business Administration, Marketing & Electrical Engineering from Washington State University.
In her role at NGIN, Liz is able to blend her experience in communication and project coordination with her passion for helping build a clean, sustainable future. A member of both the Government Relations and International development teams at LACI, she produced LACI’s bi-monthly leadership council meetings, hosted international and domestic delegations and representatives, and maintains work flow and timelines for NGIN’s numerous contracted projects. Liz works to strengthen relations amongst NGIN's network of partners and government leaders, city-wide, state-wide, cross-country, and globally.
Coming to LA from the South, she received a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia.
